Reno Attorney Jack G. Angaran - The Lowest of the Low

Our son Ryan Abele died as a result of a Hazing Incident that took place at Sigma Nu Fraternity at University of Nevada, Reno in October of 2016.

We live in California and were at home – in a different state – at the time of the event that led to our son’s death. Eighteen months later, in April of 2018, we were deposed.

The attorney representing the fraternity member that furnished the bottle of 100 proof rum provided to our son was Jack G. Angaran - formerly with Georgeson Angaran and currently the Managing Partner in the Reno/Tahoe office of Lewis Brisbois.

He was utterly obnoxious and entirely ineffective.

He asked my wife a series of questions that had absolutely nothing to do with the facts of the case. His questions were apparently intended to inflict as much emotional pain as possible in a failed attempt to get us to go away. Angaran’s theatrics were disgusting.

He literally asked twelve (12) questions about the grief counseling that my wife had attended.

When the grief counsleing questions were answered, Angaran later asked “how the loss of your son has affected you”

Wendy replied: “It’s devastating, something no mom should ever have to go through”.

Angaran then asked: “Anything else?”

Wendy answered: “My heart is broken”

Angaran followed up with: “Can you describe what you mean by that?”

What sort of sadistic low life asks the mother of deceased child to describe her broken heart?

I'll tell you. It was Jack G, Angaran - The Lowest of the Low
